Next monthly meeting – Let’s go watch em’ play ball!

For this meeting, let’s do something a little different…
Join us at the Cartee Softball Complex at 801 N Pine Street, Anchorage, AK 99508 (just a few streets away from Costco Debarr). This month might be the last for showing off your vintage ride before hibernating for winter. Be mindful of where you park if you want to keep your windows intact if there’s a Home Run!
We will be cheering on Tank’s Battalion. Though not a VW owner, Tank has driven a Vanagon during our Up and Over, and drives a MK2 Golf during Rallycross events. Kyle is also on the team and he’s joined our Up and Over, and may be taking his turn in the MK2 Golf this fall.
Early birds can watch the 6:10pm game, and everyone can watch the 7:05pm game. (Games are approximately 55 minutes long.) Team colors are green and orange if you want to dress up. There is no cost to attend the games.
Bring your own dinner/drinks/snacks and be prepared for the weather as we will be outside. There are bleachers and a snack shack but feel free to bring a camp chair/blanket/stadium seat/pop up canopy/cooler, etc.
