48th Annual Jay Ofsthun Show ‘n Shine Car Show

This WEEKEND is the 48th Annual Jay Ofsthun Show ‘n Shine Car Show is going on!

Historically Alaska’s largest car show featured all makes, all models, from turn of the century to modern day marvels to RARE on off models no one knew existed.

This is an open event where clubs can show what we’re all about.

AACVW’s game plan:

We’ll meet SUNDAY August 2nd at the Margaret Eagan Sullivan Park (West Chester Lagoon) EARLY @ 8am, and then will roll in together leaving our premeet spot @ 830am and head up the hill to the park strip and claim our general area by the rose garden as a club, if able please join us for this show throughout the day bring a chair a good conversation, and a warm smile, and if you’re able a cool car!

This is a first come first served event put on by Midnight Street Rod Association – And sponsored by many we know in our car community like;Antique Auto Mushers,Northland Pumping, Anchorage Midtown Rotary, and many more! Everything from the cones, garbage cans, and porta potties and so much more are all a community effort to bring this show together so, let’s show up and show off who we are, what we do, and show just a little bit of our crazy passion off. Food trucks should be on site, and I’m sure a few of us will also have snacks throughout the day!
