AACVW’s monthly membership meeting / cruise
Tuesday 21st, 2026 starting @ 6pm
MEET to Cruise @ The OLD Northway Mall (Click for directions)
DEPART FOR PIZZA @630PM group cruise around town for Pizza @ Saverio’s Pizzeria to be followed up by Ice Cream (optional) at Wild Scoops Ice Cream Shop in the same shopping center!

On a side note, camping was a HUGE success, this weekend thanks goes wholly to Owen, Annamaria, and Teddy for making this one of the biggest camp outs yet!

We had many in attendance, a couple baywindows, a bunch of Vanagons of various types, and models, a couple diehard car campers too, even including a BRAND NEW ID BUZZ, and a few RV’s to boot – we even had a moose or 3 show up and hangout with the cool kids!

On a serious note, thank you to everyone who made time to come hang out, make s’mores, and exchange campfire stories, and help a member in need with their car. This is the stuff that makes a “good car club” into a GREAT one!

Eileen was over the moon doing a post online + shout out on social media recently thanking all of Arctic Air-cooled Volkswagens and Vanagons of Alaska members to help better Petunia and help get her back, on the road including on some well needed newer rubber!

This was a nice little nudge for those who don’t know Eileen registered and manned the desk during our family reunion, and helped keep the front of house in order! A huge thanks to Eileen for manning the table at the Family Reunion and helping make it a success that it was..
